  • macbook pro compatible with FCS2?

I have a macbook pro. Bought in 2006. OSX 10.4, 2GHz Intel core duo, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, ATI Radeon X1600 graphics card. After looking at FCS requirements I’m not sure…Will FCS2 work on this computer?
    Thanks!

I’m on a very similar MBP, 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM and it works like a charm. I believe the biggest limiting factor is your graphics/video card – mine is a NVIDIA. Double-check FCS System requirements in that area to ensure compatibility.

I’m on a 2.4 also, works great, but I also have 4 Gigs RAM, highly recommend. Motion can run slow though.

    Have a wonderful day.

ALso, that’s a core duo, not core 2 duo. There were some differences there, make sure to check that out. If you are planning on getting an ioHD, the minimum requirements are a 2.33 GHz laptop.
