Trying to connect HPX-170 to a new MacBook Pro (10.7.5) to offload cards. Mac won’t see it via USB or Firewire (switched PC Setting in menu for each).

Installed P2 card driver and various Panasonic software options, no luck.

Any ideas? Has anyone had a similar problem?

Did you press and hold the MCR button to put the camera into DEVICE mode?

Is the camera set up to be put into device mode?

Thanks Shane! Complete user error. I had done everything except hold MCR button long enough…had forgotten the arcane mysteries of camera as reader.

NO problem. I’d forgotten to do that too. That’s why it’s the first thing I remember now.
