Hi,

I’m using macbook pro 2011 , 15inch, 2.2 ghz, 8g ram, using premiere pro 5.5.1 with nikon d3100 h264 clips and I can’t get one clip to play back at even 1/4 res without choppy playback. Does anyone know why?

Sorry I can’t help but I’m having the same problems on my Windows 7 setup on a VERY powerful Dell Precision.

I’d be interested if it may be a codec issue with the D3100.

Well that little trick of turning it from a .mov to a .mpg has fixed it on my system. Many thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. Changing to .mpg worked. It does make me a little nervous about support for macbook pro and Nikon cameras, I’m doing the 30 day trial, and I want to know this system will work.

I’m glad it worked. We know about the situation about the video files from Nikon DSLRs and are working on a fix, so you can rest a little easier.
