MacBook Pro 17″ Memory Upgrade
Posted by Jonny Filsinger on July 10, 2006 at 9:43 pmHas anyone found a reputable place to purchase a gig of memory for the MBP 17″ that’s less expensive than Apple? What brand seems to be preferred? Thanks.

July 11, 2006 at 6:06 amA couple of days ago, Frys had a sale on 1GB sticks of Patriot Memory for the Macbook for $69.99. I bought two and so far, so good. I’ve got 6GB of Patriot memory in my G5 that I’ve used for over a year without any problems.

July 11, 2006 at 6:50 pmI’m not sure about the MacBook, but…
I’ve been using high-performance “OCZ” brand memory for the past few years and it’s been rock solid on both my G5 and my PCs.
