MacBook Pro 13″ with Intel Plus Graphics 650. Anyone using one?
I’ve got an iMac that is fully kitted out for PP 4k. However, I’m wanting to add a laptop with *some* rudimentary ability to edit in a pinch. I rarely need to. What I wondered was if any of you are actually doing any field editing using the Macbook Pro 13″ with it’s non dedicated video card. I’m fully aware that it’s suboptimal, I’m more interested in talking to anyone who’s actually doing editing on it. My guess is that it’s a mistake to buy one, yet, I’d like to stay with Mac rather than go to Windows, where I know I can buy something in that price range with a decent video card in it. There are licensing issues with Adobe, they seem to want you either on all Mac or all Windows, or at least the last time I checked. Also there are other reasons to stay all Mac. Thoughts?
