Mac suddenly not recognizing DeckLink HD Extreme 3D
Hi guys,
I’m trying to get my new DaVinci Resolve setup started and encountered this error message numerous times, even after uninstalling Resolve and re-installing…
“Failed to open database connection: could not connect to server:Connection refused. Is this server running on host “127.0.0.1 and accepting. TCP/IP connections on port 5432? QPSQL: Unable to connect”.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I am currently running OSX 10.7.3 and installed the new NVIDIA driver as advised from this post. https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/277/14876
And it all seems to work apart from Resolve that keeps closing once I attempt to adjust settings in the conform page. Database issue perhaps?Any help would be much appreciated.

ps, I am new to DaVinci and still in the process of understanding how the entire system works.
