    Hi,

    I am thinking of buying a Mac Pro, i am using HDV and been informed that I need a quad core processer and 4gb ram.
    Is this enough, I want to do multi cam editing in FCP.
    Is a Mac better than a PC for editing? and where is the best/cheapest place to buy?

    Buy the fastest Mac u can afford.

    Sometime cheapest is not the best if you really don’t know what you are looking for. There is a lot more to an editing system that the computer. I think systems for people exploring new systems with much experience show consider going to a VAR or at least a consultant.
