Mac Pro to Power PC
Hi Folks,
I’ve got a Power PC Quad and I’m trying to open a project that was captured on a Mac Pro. Both systems are running V5. Any way to get this to work? Would it work if I updated the PPC to FCP V6?

FCP 5…what? There is FCP 5, 5.0.1, 5.0.2 and 5.0.4. Those versions need to match EXACTLY if things are to work right. And no, updating one to FCP 6 won’t solve the issue, unless you upgrade both to FCP 6 and both the exact same version of FCP 6…6.0.1 or 6.0.2.
