Here is what I Have and how it is set up.

Right now in my Mac Pro
OSX on one 1TB drive (internal)
Windows 7 on 1TB Drive (internal)
    (2) 1 TB Striped using the OSX Software to RAID them (internal)
A Lacie External with (2) 1TB drives Striped Using the OSX (external FW800)
Now the two internals and the two externals are mirrored, I believe that is a 1+0 AKA 10

I would like to go to the next level of speed and safety. I want something faster Im hoping to only spend about 800-1200 bucks. I would like between 4TB and 8TB and I want something that will be safe so if a drive goes out Im not SOL.

Is a PCI express in my Price Range?

Im not sure what RAID 5 is or other RAID configurations. All the creative cow ads are in the 3000k+ Range and my budget is not there (yet).

Please Advise/Educate. My Mac is a year old BTW.
