I thought i had done this before, but reformatting i see the 2.2TB limit. Went to the Seagate site and a few other forums, they said use GUID. I did. No dice. It’s an internal drive sitting in a Blacx dual caddy, connected via eSATA. Any advice? (again)….

thanks for helping out a bonehead!

Might be a caddy issue. I have three 3TB drives in the MacPro at work. No issues formatting them.

hmmmm…ya, maybe i formatted it internally last time. I’ll pop out a drive and give ‘er a shot. Thanks for helping me pinpoint it…

So, have you gone to X yet??? I’m still on 7.0.3 and it seems dandy for my lowly purposes…

Nope. And I don’t plan to.

Dang. Internal formatting worked like a charm. I coulda left it at 3TB, but going back into the BlacX i cut it in half. Working great! I wish my brain and memory worked as good. Thanks again for the reminder tip.
