  mac pro extremely slow after a crash

  just that

  I have mac pro
  2008 3,1 mac 8 core os x snow leopard
  with 20 Gb ram

  I was testing a new HP LP2475w display and the mac didn’t recognized
  after some turn on and off the mac get stock
  checking the system in safe mode was necessary to delete the drive and
  reinstall the system

  now is making every thing more slowly…
  what cab I do?
