  Mac Pro doesn’t see canon N670U scanner

  I just set up a mac pro and nothing happens when a Canon canoscan N670U scanner is plugged or unplugged from it. Normally I hear the scanner initializing either tehn or upon startup.

  Image Capture doesn’t see any devices on the list of TWAIN devices.
  I installed canon’s osx-universal driver and no difference even after rebooting.

  Any ideas? The scanner works fine on PCs.

  By the way everything else on the setup was fine, including the detailed system test and adding a couple SATA drives and a canopus firewire to analog video conveter.
