Mac Pro 2.1
I just yesterday installed Resolve Lite to my old old mac pro just for fun to see what happens and
holy smokes it worked with ati 5770.I have spare license for Resolve but now i’m wondering if i would update my gpu to something like gtx 780 would it still work or ATI only ?
I mean to use this machine as look creation and home stuff but just makes me wonder.

I had a Quadro 4000 running in one and it just worked totally fine.
I guess if you find the power it will be ok.PS : The Quadro 4000, The AJA KONA 3 and the Decklink Extreme are for sale if someone is interested … Price is 50% of the cheapest retail you can find 🙂

It did come to me as surprise 🙂
I did test some time ago but then i may have had wrong gpu in there.
Now i have great machine for “hobby” videos at home then 😉
