    Dear Guys,

After a power failure at my work space I lost a MP1.1, Didn’t solved it yet. But to continue with the work I bought a MP2.1 from a editor. It seems good at his place. After I have installed it at my workplace it seems to be turning on itself without touching the power button. All I did is connected the power plug to my spike box and that’s it, it is turning on automatically. I have also checked the energy saver settings. The option “Start up automatically after a power failure” is off by default. I didn’t even turned it on.

Any help could be helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    System Specs:
    MacPro 2.1
    2X3GHZ quad-core intel xeon
    4X8gb 667mhz ddr2 fb-dimm
    ATI Radeon HD 5770
    Mac Os 10.11.6 El Captain.

What if you turn it off. Does it just come back on? Do you need to touch the mouse or keyboard to make it come on?

How about the Wake for WiFi networks setting? If that its check it may be waking from a LAN packet.

    …just thinking out loud here.

If I shut down the system and turning on and off is what making the system on itself.

Actually, I see only wake for network access which is off by default. I haven’t touched it.
