    Hi All
Power PC Dual 2.0 Tower 6Gig ram
    OSX 10.5.6
Blackmagic Decklink SP video card in PCI
    AT9800 video card
dual monitor card feeding 19″ VGA LCD + 37″ LCD TV/Monitor

screens on both monitors has a digitized/pixeled look distorting everything on desktop EXCEPT when it switches over to SCREEN SAVER IMAGES!! (??). Click on a window and it displays clearly for a few minutes then same pixelation distorts it – have photo of it I can send helpful folks
    Tried:
    -reboot – no change
-switch to BU OS Drive – was clean for a short time then same problem
Suspect hardware but – how to narrow down?
    thanks

Sounds like a bad graphics card.

[stu aull] “how to narrow down? “

Make an appointment at the genius bar at an apple store and have then check it out.

There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!

Thanks Zane – I pretty well figured that too –
for giggles I pulled the card, dusted it off, re-seated it AND changed the CPU battery…
    IT WORKS!
    (well, for now…)
