  Mac OS Leapord Upgrade Problem

  Trying to update from Mac OS 10.5.6 to 10.5.7 but every time I go the apple menu and click “check for updates” the status bar only goes 3/4 of the way and then never finishes checking. I’ve also downloaded the update .dmg file directly from Apples website, but the installation bar progresses not even 1/10 of the bar and never budges more. After several hours I have to cancel the installation. Has anybody had a similar problem with this update? I’m also having trouble with my adobe CS3 update, so I’m wondering if it is a function on my IMAC that is failing..
