Mac OS 10.4.6 update problem
Some of our users are having a problem after updating to Mac OS 10.4.6 when running our plugins with AE 6.5 or earlier. We did not see the problem here, but we have had a few reports from some customers.
Turns out that there is a problem with the Mac OS 10.4.6 updater that removes a particular system file we rely on (the veclib.framework, for those who care 🙂 ).
The answer is to install the combo update found here : https://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ If you have updated to Mac OS X 10.4.6 and are seeing this problem with our plugins, then simply download and install the Mac OS X 10.4.6 Combo installer (not the simple updater).
