    Hi All,

Lately I’ve been investigating if it’s possible to gat a mac mini with a thunderbolt to PCI converter to use as services provider for my Final Cut server. I discovered it’s possible to ha a mac mini in my network running compressor 4 which is co-operating with the Compressor 3 on my final cut server. The only question I have left, which model should I use? is it better to have a mac mini Lion server of just the standard mac mini with an i7 upgrade en 8Gig’s of RAM?

    Thanks in advance

    Kind regards

I would get the i7. Compressor is very efficient at using multiple cpu cores.
