    Mac error -5000(Incorrect access to this file/folder)

    I am getting a mac error -5000(Incorrect access to this file/folder)when I try to digitize to my external LaCie D2 Drive using Xpress DV 4.8.1. Does anyone know how to solve this. I have a project due by the end of the weekend. Thanks

    I am connected to the hard drive using usb2 which should be fast enough for capture, correct?

    I also get this Mac error -5000 on my Mac OS 10.5.6 after installing Adobe Reader9.
    I installed Adobe because I could not open all pdf’s with Preview or Skim.
    Now I can open also most pdf’s with Adobe, but still a number not, although te settings are both reading and writing.
    Does anyone have a solution?
