Erik, you obviously didnt read the link I sent you about CUDA and what it does. If you had read it, you would understand what things its does speed up and what things its doesnt.

I read the link. I have been reading the link since last year. I read it again and it has not changed one bit.

Tom, you must have missed the thread on how/what I am testing.
I am using ONLY Cuda accelerated effects, 3-way CC, Ultra Keyer and Crop on a single layer of footage(I was using a BG layer but thought that it might be skewing the results).

So…I gave Premiere Pro CS6 1 .MTS layer to do a crop, Ultra key and 3 way CC. It is choking on a raid 0. I get the same or worse speed when Open CL is turned on.

Tom, can you do the same test as I am and report back your results?

My results are based on Production Premium LS7 on a MacBook “almost” Pro with 16GB ram and a Raid 0.

Thats a great idea, Eric. To be scientific about this, if you can provide me the clip(s) you are using I will replicate exactly what you are doing and report back. Getting the media is important since that maybe one of the factors affecting your less then satisfactory performance. Just let me know how I can access it.

Pay close attention to the end of the post, where I said that updates were important. I can’t promise things in the future, but I can say how important it is to pay attention for updates from us and OS vendors.

    Don’t make me hint harder.
