  Mac Book Pro has stopped functioning

  I am not sure what has happened but my mac book pro has pretty much stopped functioning. All my applications (from FCP and Adobe suite right through to Google chrome and Sporify) have stopped working. Their icons no longer show up in finder and finder seems to keep resetting itself. I cannot open anything!

  Before this happened I was trying to change the settings to my folders and clicked on “apply to enclosed items”

  I Harvey tried to repair disk permissions, rebooted and done Pram reset but nothing works

  I am using Mac OS X version 10.9.4

  Please can someone help??!!!!!!
