Yes it should, i imported that format in DVD Architect Pro 5.2
with no issues and i guess you need to have the latest version
of Quicktime installed too.

hmm I do have the newest version of DVDA and QT, when I try to add the m4v file DVDA freezes and crashes. Any suggestions?

I don’t know. Haven’t tried in Vegas it was rendered in Adobe Premier as m4v file. Tried to import it into DVDA and DVDA crashes
