M4V files…. only have audio (no video) when imported
Hi, I have Vegas Pro 8.0.
My phone takes video, in M4V format. When I drag these files into the project, only the audio track appears on the timeline.
Any idea how I can get the video on there too?

You need to have the latest version of Quicktime installed.
And a newer version of Vegas.Steve Rhoden
