I’m trying to find the optimal settings to export either from FCP to m4v format, please?

I’ve tried from FCP- export – QT components. I’ve also produced a QuickTime movie with ‘self contained’ turned off and then taken it through compressor.

I realise that this is a ‘How long is a piece of string?” type of question and if you will bear with me, I’ll be more than happy to answer any and all Inquisitional questions.

    For reference; here’s a dropbox link: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/11685179/PFB-part3-Settings.m4v

I’m crossing my fingers and toes for this otherwise I’ll go to mpeg4.

Get yourself some good compression software like “Episode”
Export your finished master out of FCP.

Drop that file into your compression program and create whatever format you need, like .mp4 or .m4v

Your refernce clip looks clean and is m4v, what is the question?
