I was wondering if it is possible to put more than one m2v file on a timeline. I am trying to create a template where all I need to do is re-edit the middle portion of my project. This would certainly save me some time. Ideally I would just like to place the new m2v inbetween the pieces that wont change.
    Anyone?
    Thanks

Can’t be done. One video file per timeline. It’s a good suggestion for a feature request, tho:

Best you can do is to set up separate timelines for each segment, with end actions connecting them.

Thanks, If I go with the seperate timelines
Would it lag between or would it be a smooth transition. I would fade out and in in each instance.

It depends on the DVD player. Most are probably going to have a slight lag. It shouldn’t be noticeable, however, if at the break point you fade to black, or have a title, or put anything not in motion, and you don’t have any audio playing.
