m2v file doesnt show in dvd studio pro – compressor problem????
Hello, i’ve just posted this in the dvd studio pro forum, but maybe my problem is at the fcp or compressor end..:
after exporting from fcp successfully via compressor (dvd best 90 min m2v file), the export shows in quicktime, in the desktop and even in toast, but in dvd studio pro only the sound is heard. The image is black.
this is not the first time i do this and just a few days ago i burnt a dvd without any trouble (same workflow and project).
i initially thought something could have gone wrong during compression, but as it plays everywhere else and ive checked all dvd studio pro settings, i’m at a loss.
the only difference between this export and the previous one (from which i burnt a dvd without any trouble), is that this version is colour corrected. Could this have anything to do with it???

hi Rafael,
it played without any trouble in QT and also in vlc, even on the desktop when simply pressing the spacebar (mac).

Hi Julienne,
Try to import a different .m2v if you have available.
It may be DVDSTP who is making funny things.
