  m2t on the timeline limit of 41 clips

  I have 17 hours of m2t 720p 25 clips that I wanted to spread onto a Vegas Pro 8.0a project timeline. If I try to insert more than 40 to 42 clips, Vegas crashes and exits the application. I have had to split the material into 21 individual projects to see all 865 clips. I have standard def projects larger than this without any problems of this nature.
  Any thoughts on this would be most helpful.
