m2t files with ppro 1.5.1
I have a new Sony HVR-Z7U that I just upgraded to, from my HVR-Z1U. One of the things I liked about the specs was using the files off the MRC1 Compact Flash recording unit. However, PPro 1.5.1 doesn’t recognize the M2T files at all. Is there a plug in I can get, or am I finally going to need to upgrade to CS3?
I my upgrade cost is $299 for the standard CS3, so if I need to buy a plug in, like Aspect HD for $495, then I’ll upgrade.

Upgrade. The 1.5.1 version of Premiere Pro converted from tape to Cineform AVI. So you could purchase Cineform and use it to convert to Cineform AVI for you.
Or, you could upgrade.
