    Hello fellow creatives,

This is not a creative question. One of my clients hires a DP that shoots on a CF card that makes m2t files. This, seemingly, is not a Mac-friendly format. I bought an mp2 converter for mpeg streamclip and I was able to at least see the video and convert it to a friendlier format. However, I lost the timecode. The video looks great but there is no information.

Just curious if anyone has knowledge of this workflow and if they have any solutions and/or suggestions.

    thanks,

    Cameron King

find out the timecode that each clip starts with.

in final cut use the timecode changer (forgot what its called)
in one of the menu items, to change each converted clip
    to its staring time code.
