M15U and FCP
So, I am trying to print Basic DV Footage to Tape. Well, Instead of taking the camera out, I wanted to use the M15U by Sony. When I either Print to Video or Edit to Tape the Deck begins to record … but doesn’t record the timeline one bit … not even the standard color bars.
Now,
1) I have checked the Firewire cables.
2) I have changed the settings on the deck from HDV to DV SP (even tried DVCAM)
3) I have changed the setting in FCP to read the Firewire and Send out DV SP
4) I have Refreshed the Devices and set the frames to ALL
5) I have turned off FCP and BACK UP
6) I have restarted the computer.
7) I even changed the tapes.
8) The deck still sends both HDV and DV footage into FCP but for some reason still won’t take the video and audio back to tape.Anybody? AM I missing something?
Please Help.

Nevermind … I figured it out.
Since I have an AJA Box, the system was telling the Video and Audio to go to the Box and not to the Deck. Interesting. Oh well… Thanks for the look anyways.
