M100 EDL conversion to Avid MC
I have to convert old edl’s to recapture in Avid. My Media 100 system is long dead and gone. Is there a way to do this? Thanks everyone.

When you say “EDLs”, do you actually mean an EDL or a Media 100 project?
EDLs are easy. Open the Avid EDL tool, open your EDL in there, Create a sequence.
It’s that easy when it works. Of course there are all kinds of gotchas with EDLs, you will probably end up rebuilding some stuff.
If it’s a Media 100 project, they are still being supported. BorisFX.com owns the Media 100 line now.

Yeah, I’m just trying to open an actual EDL and then recapture from the footage from there. Not familiar with the “EDL tool” however. I do have EDL Manager that came with MC, but have had limited if any success with it in the past. Thanks for the advice.
