M-Audio Oxygen8 as control surface?
I’ve tried to get FCP to recognize my Oxygen8 midi controller to no avail. Why does FCP only give you options for Mackie and Logic control surfaces in the Control Surface window?

Because FCP doesn’t work with MIDI. It only works with Mackie Control Protocol for control survaces.
