Has anyone successfully used the M-Audio Fast Track USB for voice over recording in FCP using the Voice Over Tool ?

December 1, 2007 at 12:52 pmWhat are really important are the steps before your audio gets digitized. I mean the mic you use and the ambience where you make your recording. If you get a good sound in to your M-Audio Fast Track you will get a perfect voiceover.

Thanks for your reply. We will ensure that the mic level is properly pre-amped and it will be a good signal as it is coming from a v/o room.
Basically I just need to confirm that FCP will recognise the M-Audio Fast Track USB device in the Voice Over Tool.

If you can see the name of the device in the list will works. If you set the Fast Track USB to record 16b/48Khz, perfect for FC.
