    What are really important are the steps before your audio gets digitized. I mean the mic you use and the ambience where you make your recording. If you get a good sound in to your M-Audio Fast Track you will get a perfect voiceover.

    Hi Rafalaos,

    Thanks for your reply. We will ensure that the mic level is properly pre-amped and it will be a good signal as it is coming from a v/o room.

    Basically I just need to confirm that FCP will recognise the M-Audio Fast Track USB device in the Voice Over Tool.

    To make sure that your Mac recognice the Fast Track USB, plug it and open the System Preferences>Audio>Input.
    If you can see the name of the device in the list will works. If you set the Fast Track USB to record 16b/48Khz, perfect for FC.
