The Creative Cloud application installer doesn’t run like a normal application.
It runs as a system tray task (Windows) or menu bar icon (Mac), and its UI window seems to vanish pretty easily even when the application is still running and working. Any chance it’s not actually quitting, just vanishing into the background? You should be able to get it back by clicking on on the Creative Cloud icon in the notification area (Windows) or menu bar (Mac).
