Which LUT plug-in are you referring to?

I can’t even find the letters “LUT” or “Lookup Table” in the Vegas Pro help file.

Vegas13 has an V-log plugin and in order to use it you need the LUT’s which are the tables that work with the plugin that tell it what natural and vibrant colors to produce from the dull footage that the V-log footage produces.
There’s no LUTs out there that I can find that work with Vegas.

Are you referring to the 3rd party VisionColor LUT Plug-in? To my knowledge Vegas Pro does not come with a LUT plug-in from Sony.

If that’s the one you are referring to, you might want to contact VisionColor support and ask where they recommend you can download LUT’s that are compatible with their plug-in. I see they have the formats listed on their web site but I’ve never used that particular plug-in as I don’t have a camera that shoots in any LOG format. 🙁

Hi Roger, me again.

Since I do not own DVX200, I just downloaded a sample DVX200 footage from Vimeo.

I then split the footage in Vegas, separated the vlog part and applied the LUT for DVX200 which I downloaded from the Panasonic site (“VLog_to_V709_forDVX200_ver100.cube”). The LUT instantaneously gave me vivid colors. I attach the before and after screenshots. If you can get a similar result, I believe the Panasonic LUT via the VisionColor plug-in is working for you.

That’s what I’ve been looking for I’m pretty sure.
Can you point me to the URL where you found the LUT for DVX200?
I have looked on the Panasonic site and don’t see where it might be.
