LUT for internet – Laptop viewing?
Hello,
Trying to find a way to preview for web, in particular vimeo seen on a PC or Mac screen. If I watch the same vimeo link on my calibrated monitor, fancy LED in the living room, iPhone or iPad, everything matches (within an acceptable variance). I watch that same link on a brand new Mac air, without calibrating the screen, much more blue and saturated. I’m assuming film festival directors are watching the withoutabox submission link on a mac laptop with a screen on factory default.
I haven’t corrected much for the web, but now I’m being asked to more and more. Is there a LUT available that will compensate for laptop screens, and also split the difference, if I don’t have time for a second pass for other web devices?
