Lut Buddy & technicolor cine style crashing FCP

Trying to use Magic Bullet Lut Buddy within FCP 7.0.3 with the Technicolor cine style Lut.

everything is transcoded to ProRes, and when I try to render with the Lut & Lut Buddy plug in, everything crashes.

WTF, I thought this pipeline was working. FCP just crashes upon initial trying to render.

Tryed to export the LUT and re-import. no luck, checked the Magic Bullet site, no love.

What’s a project to do to use HDSLR with Technicolor Stylizes and tapping the LUT via MB Lut Buddy

Any surgestion to fix the issue?

try to reinstall, repair permissions, restart system, no love!

Doesn’t help you – but I’m also using LUT Buddy with ProRes transcoded footage (from Canon 60D) and having no problems. Although it does render 5 times slower than using Colorista or the three-way. It’s quite easy to get the look using these tools rather than the LUT anyway so you wont loose much if you decide not to try and get it working.

Unfortunately, I cannot help you either, but I have the exact same crash than you have.
Did you find where the problem is?

I’ve stopped using it now, Noe I use an s curce in colorista2

May I ask you how you do that?
Are you making your own curve, or are you using the technicolor curve in a different plug in?

Scroll down to the Master grade section
Create an S curve with as much punch as you need, use the rest of the plugin to tweak up to your liking

Hi guys! I was having the exact same problem, it is fixed by downloading the Technicolor fix here:
https://www.technicolor.com/en/hi/cinema/filmmaking/digital-printer-lights/cinestyle
It is a .mga file that you need to import from the LUT buddy instead of the previous faulty .lut file.

How do you inport the .mga file to FCP ? I tried unsuccessfully
