Lumosity add – drawings over live video…?
Posted by Grant Wilber on January 30, 2013 at 4:00 pmI was curious how this kind of thing is done:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZpKBDIv1XUThat sort of drawing, jiggly, kind of feel? Both some of the more simpler things (lighting_ to something a bit more involved (Like the last shot with the lines reacting to her hands). Any push in the right direction to start learning would be great.

January 30, 2013 at 4:12 pmMask a Solid and add Scribble, Turbulent Displace and then Posterize Time. Animate Turbulent Displace’s Evolution property and set Posterize Time to 7fps. Tweak the other properties to get your desired results.

January 30, 2013 at 5:20 pmAnother way of doing this that I find easier since I tend to design my graphic elements in Illustrator is to create 3 or 4 versions of the same element with slight variations on separate layers(really easy to do with a vector graphic), import that in AE as a sequence and loop it. Then you animate the loop layer to do whatever move you need. To have the element/elements follow a head or hand movement you can track the move, link all graphic elements to a Null and apply the track to that Null.

January 30, 2013 at 5:54 pm— Hi —
——–reckon its probably a combination of techniques —
– some of it looks like frame by frame animation to me or some version of it – checkout ‘atoms found head’ and ‘bright-idea sequence’ ………..
……. or are you guts saying that these others methods do the same thing ?? ………
