    Hey all,

One thing that has been eluding me is the creation of a luminous/light ball. Not just a glowing orb, but a ball with a center that actually emits light. I worked on a rip for a beauty product and the other designer created a ball that had ligh inside.
I use shine, and am kind of over that, but this is diferent, I need something that is luminus and casts light from within the ball. Is there a plug-in like Knoll? Do I need a plug-in?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

what about trapcodes Lux. It emits light from a 3d light.

You can use a white round feathered mask with the transfer mode set to add for a nice effect.
