Luma vs saturation curve in ae

is there a luma vs saturation curve in ae? Like in davinci resolve. Or the equivalent of the fcp7 filter desaturate highlights with a knee rolloff value.
I want to roll the shadows n.highlights gently to white n black and remove.the posterization.

Of the color correction tools that come installed with After Effects, Synthetic Aperture Color Finesse 3 has the most control. You Can do an HSL highlight and shadow saturation correction, with adjustable shadow/midtone/highlight ranges.

Yes. But it affects the entire range. I was just trying to rolloff the shadows to black and highlights to white.

1. use shift channel alpha as lightness, then add effect-levels, its white and black point can now set that layer as an alpha matte for the footage below. now duplicate footage, set transfer mode alpha and you can modify selected portions of the b/w levels with hue/sat effect.

2. or just turn a video layer into an adjustment layer, set as mode color, add curves
