    Hi All!

I have an HP 3280 LTO 6 nad LSI 9200 card that I will install in a PC.

The idea is backup video footage that comes from Imac editing machines and has been written to mac formatted drives.

Am I right in thinking I can’t use windows since it can’t read mac drives?

So my options are Linux or osx and will that install on any hardware?

    Thanks a million!

Actually, you can mount and access HFS+ disks on a Windows system using Paragon’s tools.

    Thanks Tim!

From what I have read NTFS on MAC is more robust/faster than HFS+ on PC?

Please let me know what you think.

For what you’re trying to achieve, the Paragon HFS+ solution is very good. It’s still faster than a standalone spindle can run. The only time I’ve seen a performance hit was on a very fast array (8 disks) and even then it was only a few MB/sec compared to the Mac.
