We still output content to Beta SP for certain customers. We like to do so with bars and tone and with the program starting at a specific timecode. With the Avid MC, we could output LTC directly that was based on the timecode of the project. That made it easy to simply output to tape in one step. But with Premiere CS5 it appears that the only way to do this is to blackstripe a tape and do an insert edit – which is extra steps.

We are using a Blackmagic Design Studio card. Is there any way that Premiere will output a LTC signal via an audio output? I know this is “old school” now that so much is (thankfully) tapeless. But still, isn’t this kinda basic?

    Thanks!
