I’m shooting a wedding tomorrow with my DVX 100 and I just found out the ceremony is gonna run 1:15. Instead of switching tapes in the middle I was going to run the camera in LP mode. Will this have any effect when I capture the footage in Vegas 5.0?

LP mode should cause absolutely NO differences anywhere. The data on the tape is exactly the same – just packed tighter together. Consequently, you *may* have to capture tapes from the same camera it was recorded in.

Generally speaking, it is recommended that you stick with SP speed. I typically do SP mode using 83 minute tapes for longer events.

Thanks. I didn’t mention I was shooting 24p but assume that doesn’t make a difference.

    Should make zero difference.
