I’m not sure this is the right forum but I have a problem with m2v going to DVD. I edit in Media Composer using P2 DVDpro HD transcoded to Avid DNXHD 145 video file then adding a lower third to an interviewee and it looks fine, no brightness shift. I then export a QT ref file and put it in Sorenson Squeeze10 using the same parameters I’ve always used(7000kbs for video, 256kbs for audio. I can screen grab all parameters if necessary) I compress to m2v and and an ac3 audio. In the resultant m2v file when the lower third comes on and off there is a brightness shift in the video and I can’t figure out why though I assume its an alpha channel problem. Any ideas?

I am on MacPro 2008 OS 10.10.5, Graphic card Nvidia GeForce 800GT 512 Mbs

I Forgot to add: the lower thirds with alpha channel created in Photoshop CC 2017 and imported to Composer
