    Hi,

I’ve got a lower third title that I want to dissolve out so I applied the nonadditive dissolve effect, works great, except, the V1 subject also blurs while the lower third fades.

Obviously I want to keep the subject in focus throughout… anybody had/solved this?

    Thanks,

    JB

Is this after it is fully rendered? I have never seen a layer blur with a dissolve unless it isn’t rendered.

You can also apply a keyframed opacity ramp out to fade a title off. Make sure that is also rendered.

Thanks Michael… at first I thought this was not the cause… I selected everything and did a command R… It said writing vid… Still had problem! BUT, when I output the vid using QT Conversion… (during which the whole timeline goes red suggesting it will be rendered in the process) it came out fine and no blurring at all. Thanks. Am I not rendering in the program correctly? Is there a better command? Or is this something you just live with till you output?
