Lower third emphasis
Posted by Jerry Smith on May 8, 2016 at 10:04 amMost lower third stuff that I’ve looked at involves bringing text in or taking it away. What if you want to hightlight it? And quickly? Can somebody point me to a video or two for inspiration? I did some 3d flips before, but I want something 2d this time around.

May 9, 2016 at 10:10 amThanks, but I that’s a little too flashy. I’m going to do something more like what you see here at the 25 second mark:

Basically, a swipe and some sorta color change.
But I was wondering if anybody knew anything else that was similar.

May 9, 2016 at 10:16 pmI have been there. See my link above. 99.99 percent of lower thirds come in or go out. The one in my link is the only one that I saw that could be classified as highlighting/underlining the text.
