Lower third animation question
I created some lower thirds in After Affects for this project about the Sunsphere, Knoxville Tennessee’s icon. In the lower thirds I animated a hand drawn version of the Sunsphere to move over the bar. Right now it’s too jerky, and becuase of that it calls too much attention to itself. The idea is for the little sunsphere to morph between each frame so I tried some different frame blending modes without very much success.
This has been my workflow so far: I drew 10 different sunspheres in Photoshop, imported psds into AE, made each layer 1 second long, arranged/duplicated in the time line, nested into a comp and did a timestretch, then droppeded it into the lower third. I’ve posted some samples of how it looks right now and I would really appreciate any suggestions you guys might have.
Thank you for your time,
