Anyone has an experience on how to accomplish such? I am interested in NeatVideo but now I am experiencing it is taking aweful long time to render. Anyone know if this can be accomplish in PPro 2.0 without having a plugin or know of any other plug in that generate good and efficient results? What is the Noise / Noise/Grain Video effects in Premiere for? Adding Grain? Or removing them?

    Thanks in advance,
    Perry

If you have After Effects you can use remove grain. It also has long render times but does a really great job.

    Perry,

Since the blue channel in cameras is the most prone to noise, you can use the “Channel Blur” effect and add blur on the blue channel.

Play with that until you get a good balance.

I have also been able to copy the AE noise plugin into Premiere…and work it from there,

If the level of noise is consistent throught the project and you are exporting to DVD – you may also want to try the Noise Reduction setting in the DVD export setup.
