    HI:

I Just bought the Lowell Pro Light Focus backlight and it came with a Sylvania GCA (250W/120V) Lamp,

It appears to be too strong for a back placed at a reasonable distance on my C-stand, even when scrimmed.

Havent been able to find say a 125 GCA.

If you can point me to one, I would appreciate it (asked lowell the question and they did not respond).

    Thanks!

    I’m sorry, I didn’t get your email.
There is a chart listing commonly used lamps in the instruction sheet or here – https://lowel.com/prolight/prolight_b.html#info
The 125 watt version of that lamp is the FSH.
We have found the FVM 105 watt and FVL 200 watt lamps to be more durable with similar outputs as the higher wattage lamps. If your Pro-light is pre April 2003 you will need to stick to the GCA and FSH lamps unless you update or modify the light.
