  Low res, “pixely” edges when rendering

  Dear forum, first post for me here.

  I’m using Vegas 12 and I’m having problems when rendering material that has a “sharp edge” next to a very bright colour. After rendering, the edges (and only the edges) turn out all pixely, as if the resolution around the edges were half of the actual video resolution.

  I’ll attach two images. One with a detail of how it looks in the Vegas Preview window (smooth edges), and one of from the rendered material (pixely edges). I’ve tried rendering to different formats (mp4, mpeg2, mxf) with many different settings but no luck. 🙁
